Privacy Notice
We collect only what the waitlist needs.
This notice covers the Unbottled Prayers website and early-access waitlist. A separate notice will cover the app before any public pilot begins.
Effective date: August 11, 2026
Who is responsible
Unbottled Prayers is the controller responsible for the waitlist information described here. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@unbottledprayers.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect and process:
- Your email address and the date and form location used to sign up.
- Your consent and confirmation status, including whether you completed Kit’s double opt-in process.
- Email activity, such as delivery, bounces, unsubscribes, and opens or clicks when those Kit features are enabled.
- Basic security and request data, such as IP address, request time, browser headers, and records used to prevent abuse.
We do not ask for your name, phone number, prayer content, precise location, payment information, or an app account when you join this waitlist.
Why we use it
We use your email and consent records to send occasional project updates and a possible private-pilot invitation, measure confirmed interest, honor unsubscribe and privacy requests, deliver email reliably, and prevent fraud or automated abuse. We rely on your consent for waitlist emails. You may withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Because this is a Christian app waitlist, joining could suggest something about your religious interests. We ask for explicit consent before submission and use that information only to operate this waitlist. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or decisions about you.
Service providers
Two service providers process information for the waitlist:
- Vercel hosts and secures the website and processes web requests and operational logs. Read the Vercel Privacy Policy.
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) stores subscriber records, manages confirmation and unsubscribe status, and sends emails. Read the Kit Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
We do not sell your information or disclose it to advertisers, sponsors, other subscribers, or AI providers. Service providers may process it only to provide the services described above or as required by law.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics tools, social-media pixels, heatmaps, or session replay. No nonessential cookie is required to join the waitlist. If that changes, this notice and any consent controls will be updated before the technology is enabled.
How long we keep information
Unconfirmed waitlist records are reviewed and removed when they are no longer needed to complete confirmation or prevent abuse. Confirmed records remain in Kit while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, a limited suppression record may be retained so we can honor your choice and comply with email law. Operational security logs are retained for the limited periods provided by our hosting plan.
You may request full deletion by emailing privacy@unbottledprayers.com. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days unless information must be retained for security, legal, or opt-out compliance.
International processing
Vercel and Kit are US-based providers and may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Where applicable, their data-processing terms provide transfer mechanisms such as the Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your choices and rights
You may unsubscribe using the link in any Kit email. Depending on where you live, you may also ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your information, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing and may complain to your local data-protection authority. Send requests to privacy@unbottledprayers.com.
Children
The waitlist is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child submitted an email, contact us so it can be removed.
Security
We use HTTPS, restricted server-side credentials, request validation, rate controls, and reputable hosting and email providers. No internet service can promise absolute security, but we limit the information collected and review access to the systems that hold it.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be shown here with a new effective date and, when appropriate, sent to confirmed subscribers before taking effect. Questions, corrections, and deletion requests go to privacy@unbottledprayers.com.
